What Life Are You Building?

“This life that you’re building is entirely your creation, fashioned out of your dreams and fears. What do you want? What do you love? What ways of living have you simply acquiesced to, because someone told you to? Because it seemed smart or practical or easy? Are those the best words to describe how you want to live?” Present Over Perfect, pg. 104

As a child, you live for what your parents want. They tell you what to eat, how to dress what shows, movies, and music you can listen to, and so much more. But at what point do you begin to gain autonomy?

You wanted to do well in school because your teachers presented all the fears and dreary wearies of what can happen if you do not go on for more formal education.

Coaches screamed and yelled in your face to get you to improve, to do more, to be better, so you and your team would win that next game, meet, or competition.

Failure was not an option, and soon enough you lost connection to what you really wanted.

Let’s shakeup that bowl full of expectations from others, shall we?

Whose thoughts and opinions are you listening to above your own?

What if your own thoughts are plagued with negativity, fear, expectation, doubt, guilt, and shame. What do you do then?

Your life is entirely your creation, created by your fears and your dreams. A favorite sentence I repeat to clients and students is this: Thoughts create your feelings, feelings create your actions, and actions create your results.

That means that all those thoughts from childhood, coaches, teachers, and family members are creating your life right this minute. Is that a tad bit scary? It doesn’t have to be.

Energy healing is the best way you can release those thoughts of, “I can’t increase my finances,” “I can’t be a better mom,” “I can’t slow my schedule down,” or “my marriage is never going to get happy.”

How do you release those thoughts? Follow my proven 4 step process below.

Step 1– Identify the self lacking thoughts of I can’t, I won’t, I’m not able to, I’m not good enough to.

Step 2– Picture your higher power. (This can look like God, Christ, Universe, Violet Flame, Mountains, Trees, or Light.)

Step 3– Hand over the self lacking thoughts

Step 4– Replace those thoughts with light and new thoughts. (Change the negative to a positive.)

As you consistently do this your life will begin to change. I recently had a client come to me in a state of suicidal ideations. She was listening to those old programmed thoughts, believing that she was useless to everyone, including her children. My heart quickly went out to her. I have felt similar thoughts about my children being better off with a different mom. (You know the type, the mom who looks like she has her act together, who is calm and patient.)

As I did a session for her, she was able to connect with those thoughts (Step 1). She realized that she was giving her power to outside forces, opinions, and people who truly didn’t have her best interest in mind.

When she was finally able to release these deep emotional wounds (Step 3), she was able to see more clearly what her inner voice was saying all along (Step 4): “You are enough. You are a good mom. Your life is worth living. You can stop doing all these things to prove who you are.”

That moment changed her life and mine. It was the very first moment she understood why she was here on this earth. Those suicidal thoughts were gone, and she did not take her life that night as she had planned.

For me, it ingrained even more in me that the life you live is based on the fears and dreams you have. It’s all a choice, a choice to give power to the fears or the power to your dreams. You decide!

What self lacking thoughts have you identified today? I would love to see what you’re releasing.

With love,

Talesha
