When I first started my business I was a timid, easy to please energy worker who just wanted to help people. So I did whatever I could to ensure others were happy. Even if it came as an expense for me.
I believed that if my prices were low I would be able to help every person who came into contact with me.
I consistently said yes to everyone and tried my best to truly help them. Even when they weren’t ready for all I had to offer.
What I realized in my eagerness to help people is it overwhelmed them. Most people need simple steps, accountability and guidance to connect to their soul.
I was missing all those key pieces. As I mentioned earlier I charged very little $25 to be exact. And I consistently ran into the “woah, that is sooo much. I just can’t do that right now.”
It broke my heart and still does. I felt discouraged and overwhelmed by this. I didn’t know what my next move was. I didn’t even know if taking a next step would be beneficial.
For the people that did come, I lacked giving them accountability to continue their progress and continued to give them way too many things to work on. It overwhelmed them and left me feeling confused about why they weren’t seeing results.
After an extra tiring day, I had to come to terms with what value I was willing to provide and how I was not only going to help my clients but also my business that I loved deeply. I was drowning in exhaustion, and some months not even breaking even.
I felt like a failure.
But where was the middle ground? And could I provide value and make an income in my business? Still helping people and helping them see results?
The answer was yes! And that is what you see in my business today. I created my own healing modality Emotional Reintegration Technique (ERT) (formerly Soulfully You)that same week and started offering packages to better help my clients have accountability and understanding in their emotions and results.
I now have two people working for me, a full client list, and a successful training course that trains others to do ERT.
I feel fulfillment, satisfaction and turn a profit every month. All while deeply impacting and helping women every single day.
I finally found my perfect balance for myself and clients. When I see messages pour in with gratitude of seeing their lives changed it further fuels me to create and connect to help bring more change.
I am so grateful for change, uncomfortableness and breaking points because it really is what brings success.
