As an entrepreneur you are always chasing that next high, that next person who wants you at their event, that next money making opportunity, the next thing that you think will help boost your visibility and sales.
I know this because I am an entrepreneur. I created my energy healing business 4 years ago and have been chasing that dream of success ever since.
I like to refer to this process as the rat race. Where you’re trying to prove that you are enough, prove that you can make more money prove that you can do more. Meanwhile, you’re running yourself into a hole doing yourself more harm with mental and physical exhaustion.
Last year The Greatest Showman was in theater. From the first song knew it would be good for me. I had tears and goosebumps. (An instant sign of something good coming, I didn’t know how much.) That movie literally changed my whole perspective on entrepreneurship.
The song never enough spoke right to my aching heart. I started sobbing right there in the movie theater and I kept sobbing and sobbing huge tears. Finally someone knew the pain I felt in trying to create a powerful business. I felt trapped. That no matter what I did it was never enough. Not for my clients, not for myself, not for my family. No matter the goals I reached, I never felt fulfilled. Can you relate as an entrepreneur?
When I got home my cries continued. I felt deeply within my heart that it would never be enough. I HAD TO CHANGE!
I needed to create a space within me where I knew I was enough. I no longer wanted to feel worthless.
How do I do that?
How do I create a new space in me?
How do I feel that hopelessness?
How do I replace a gaping hole?
How do I feel valued, accepted and wanted?
That was my starting point I needed to know how I could fulfill my passions and dreams and feel wholeness inside of me. I found my answer and I want to help you find yours. Because darling, your happiness matters.
- Who are you seeking approval from? I’m going to go out on a ledge here and say, no one else’s opinion or thoughts on you matter besides yourself and your God. Release the hold you allow people to have on you.
- Eliminate! Remove the clutter, negativity, and distractions that cause you to forget how great you are. It’s ok to let people down, because those who matter don’t mind and those who mind don’t matter.
- Develop spiritual strength. When you rely upon you and others for all the answers the weight becomes heavy. That is why it is so crucial to put your faith in a being greater than mankind. Fill you day with faith, devotion, study, prayer, and meditation.
Doing these three things changed me. And it will change you too. Persistence, focus, and action daily is all you need.
With love,
Talesha
