My Travel Bucketlist

Traveling has set my soul on fire since I was a kid. My family went on a family vacation every year and that turned into some of my happiest childhood memories.

From long car rides in the old honda singing music and annoying my siblings to meeting new people- I love it all! Seeing new places has opened my eyes to the beauty still there to discover.

1) Go to Egypt to see the Great Pyramid of Giza. This is the biggest and oldest pyramid built nearly 5 thousand years ago. I want to look up and see the amazing engineering that still blows my mind.

2) Go to France and see the Eiffel Tower. The tower is considered a wonder of the world and each year attracts more visitors than the previous. I see myself in a cute french outfit walking up to a tower I used to dream of seeing.

3) Visit the Africa Safari and see all the amazing wild animals. Lions, Zebras, and giraffes, oh my. To see these beautiful animals in their home has been a dream of mine for a very long time.

4) View the Northern Lights. A light show sure to take your breath away. I would love to sleep in a clear igloo and watching the lights above dance around.

5) Visit Pompeii. Pompeii has always fascinated me. A great loss preserved history. People are frozen in time. Because the city was mostly preserved we were able to piece together what a normal day would look like in the ancient world.

6) Take a ride through the Sahara on a camel. The Sahara desert is an incredible landscape of sandy mountains and occasional palm trees. It has always amazed me how people and animals learn how to survive in that climate.

7) Walk across the Golden Gate Bridge. The bridge stretches over two miles connecting two California cities. It’s an architectural wonder in San Francisco.

8) Visit the Niagra Falls. 6 million cubic feet of water falls over the Niagra falls every minute. Because of this, it is one of North America’s most spectacular views.

9) Visit Times Square in New York City. All the flashing lights and huge billboard signs lighting up every inch of the square are captivating. Visiting would be a trip I would never forget.

10) Visit India. As a kid, I received a packet full of Indian art, information, and architecture. I was fascinated by the culture and beauty the cities hold. I would flip through each packet in awe and dreaming of a day I’d be able to see everything in person.

Seeing the world around me has always been a goal of mine. To be educated on the people and places that surround me. No matter where you are there is beauty.

Traveling has even opened my eyes to the beauty that I live in. Seeing my state in a whole new perspective. I now appreciate my drive to work, my home I live in, the mountains surrounding me. There is so much to be in awe of right in your home.

Get out and see the world.

All my love,

Talesha
