This retreat was 4 days of bliss! I was so honored to present and to also attend the retreat myself. It was a great opportunity for me to present in a different state. I loved meeting new women and to be able to utilize the skills I have, to help them in their mom-life.
On Friday afternoon I was able to lead a round table discussion at lunch. We talked about how women can live presently in their life and what things block them presently.
Some things that were mentioned:
Distractions: The things you have to do as a mom. You know, all of the laundry, cooking, cleaning, drop-offs, and pick-ups. Social media and how it’s hard to spend that time the right way. I’m sure you’ve gotten trapped in the social media scroll. Before you know it, you’ve been on for 2 hours.
Overcoming: Overcoming those distractions can be difficult. It’s really a three-step process. We listed three ways you can manage it. Courage, connection, and compassion. There are different ways to step into that healing so you can be more present in your day, community, and space.
Seeking help: By sharing your vulnerabilities people are able to relate and support you. Say sorry to yourself. Then follow that up by thanking yourself and saying “I love you”, on a daily basis so you can get over those hurdles. Meditation and prayer are also big ways to seek help. Participate in that soul care in order to be more present with yourself.

Have you guys felt when you know the women around you support you? Building each other up instead of tearing each other down. It’s so amazing! We all can do our part to build the women around us, up. The women were able to open up to be raw and vulnerable. Asking those hard questions and seeking out the help and love they deserve.
Friday was when I was able to teach my class. For my class, I taught about emotional healing. I was able to walk them through that process as if they were a one-on-one client. I helped them to identify their emotions, release them and how to replace them. We did a lot of guided visuals, meditation, breath work, and clearing work in that sense. I love what I do, so helping these women filled my soul’s purpose.
Seeing those amazing women experience that release was amazing. We as women have a lot of stresses. We hold ourselves to high standards that are sometimes out of our control. Noticing that and changing our thinking benefits us more than we realize. Being all together we were able to lean on one another in releasing those negativities.

We had so much fun! We were able to go on a hike and the food was yummy. Being out in nature has always been really healing for me. It was also nice to have my own quiet time. At my house, I’m constantly on the move taking my kids to and from school, soccer practice, gymnastics, and dance. Not really focusing on myself and my own healing. During that quiet time, I was able to do a lot of soul-searching and reflection.
It was challenging for me to be away and get out of my comfort zone a little bit. I was able to work through that and manage it. Coming home I was so much better because of it.
I loved opening up and telling them how I got started into emotional healing. We all start somewhere. We all have to switch our thinking. For some, it comes naturally, and for others, it may be harder to understand at first.
One day I was doing great, and the next my whole life changed. After the unexpected passing of my grandma, I got stuck in a rut of depression and anxiety.
After a sweet friend of mine recommended emotional healing, a huge weight was lifted. My soul got the peace it was searching for. And now, I want to help as many amazing people as I can.
Have you ever been to an emotional healing retreat? If so, what were some things you were taught?
