I was so craving a night out with close friends! To chat about life, love, work and everything in between. Eating all of the yummy snacks that we all brought and feel like a person, not just a mom. Sometimes, you get stuck in the flow of everyday life. It was so incredible to spend a night out with myself and my closest friends. I knew I wanted it to be a time to unwind, laugh until my stomach hurt and get up-to-date on my friend’s lives. And that’s exactly what it turned out to be!

My friend Tandie with “mom’s mimosa and pinups” hosted it in her Main Street photography studio. I loved the vintage feel, with the high detailed ceilings and homey atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax and have some fun! I know all of the ladies loved it too. It’s definitely the perfect place for “ladies night out” pt. 2!

That night we talked about how much we loved life, what we struggled with and laughed about the funny things our kids do. It was the perfect way to spend an evening. And very needed! We laughed almost the whole night, and I kept laughing even days after.

The story of my children’s great escape was brought up. I belly laughed while sharing it. And everyone got a kick out of hearing how my 3 year old and one year old undid a chain lock with chairs stacked on top of each other, put their snow boots on. hid the evidence and walked across the street in a fresh winter snowstorm.
Luckily they were taken in by my friend who fed them and gave them shelter. hahaha. Their dad was pretty embarrassed but it sure made for a great story and it is witness of the angels we have protecting us daily.
We talked about how goals, our businesses, and our dreams. The group of women I am surrounded by are truly inspirational and I think everyone deserves women like this.

I am so appreciative of my friends who took the time away to hang out with me and even those who traveled a couple of hours to be there. It wouldn’t have been the same without all of you there! I hope it was exactly the unwind that you all needed.
