Fitness Tips For Beginners

Exercising regularly is very important to maintain good health. Not only will you see the benefits, but you will also feel the benefits. However, working out regularly takes a lot of determination and patience. You won’t see results overnight so staying disciplined will help you achieve your goals.

Tip 1: Check your health. Just because someone on the screen can do an exercise, doesn’t mean you can. My husband, for example, thought he could go squats and ended up really hurting himself. He didn’t realize how bad his knee was until after the squat being in pain. Those are things that can be avoided by checking with your doctor to make sure you can do all exercises.

Tip 2: Set realistic goals. I can’t stress this enough. If you go from 0-100 you will most likely give up. Once you have set your goals make sure you make clear steps to achieve it. Create small goals leading up to bigger ones. Once the small goals have been achieved you’ll be motivated to keep going.

Tip 4: Decide how often you want to go. Again this is a goal that should be realistic. If you are just starting to go set a goal for at least two times a week. It doesn’t need to be crazy. Or super long. Even 30 minutes will get you in the routine and you can move up from there.

Focus on your diet

Warm-up to your workout

Do a cooldown

Listen to your body and don’t push it too hard

Take progress pictures

You can do this! You can do amazing things and achieve all your goals! Make realistic goals for where you’re at in your life and nothing can stop you. I can’t wait to see you achieve everything you dream of once you make that first step.
