Favorite High School Memories Pt. 2

Have you read part 1 yet? If not, go read that one first, then come back!

During high school I knew it was going to be some of the best times of my life. I soaked in every opportunity, every friendship and made the best out of everything.

One of my favorite memories was car rides with my best friends laughing the whole time! I loved spending as much time with my friends as possible. Plus add in my love for long car rides, I was in heaven!

I had this lookout I loved to go to about 15 minutes from my house. I’d pick up my best friend and drive all the way to the top of a secluded neighborhood. This was the perfect spot to see the whole valley.

Everything about it was calming. It was the perfect place to unwind and chill. We would talk for hours until finally we decided to drive back home and do it again within the next few days.

I’m sure you all remember the magic you felt on your first high school dance. I was so excited for my first dance with someone I really loved. I felt butterflies, giddy, and over the moon happy.

I love getting pampered and my sister knew exactly how to make me beautiful. She did my hair, makeup, and helped me put my dress on. It was so much fun having that one-on-one sister time.

I felt beautiful inside and out as I danced my heart out. High school dances were always so much fun. Dancing with all of my friends I really felt like I was out of my bubble. I went home that night with the biggest smile on my face.

I continued that tradition with my sister the rest of high school. Some of the best memories.

Now let’s talk front row football games. Never in my whole high school experience had I ever sat front row at a football game. Homecoming senior year after a hard breakup I decided enough was enough.

You bet you butt I waited 3 hours for that game to start. I sat with people I had never met before and some I felt very uncomfortable around. And simple because I wanted to experience the “magic.”

That game was so much fun! I laughed so hard and met some awesome people. I remember one guy hitting on me the whole time and I just casually denied him over and over. Now with that being right after a breakup it was so much fun haha. Looking back now I just think, “poor kid.” haha.

One more senior year memory. This one you won’t want to miss… My first tinder date. Yes, I went on my very first tinder date senior year. He was tall, strong and blonde. The first blonde haired guy I had and have ever dated.

He was a Sophomore in college, going to be a doctor. I was mesmerized by his every move. He was so cool. And so much fun. He made me laugh, made me happy and made me feel so special.

The first “date” was around 8pm at a local park. It was nearly summer so luckily it was still bright outside. He showed up late, but was so cute he made up for it.

He tried to show off how he could fit through a small hole in the park and allllmost got stuck. I’m still surprised a college boy dated me while I was still a baby haha. We laughed for about an hour straight until it was dark and I decided it would be best to leave.

Over the next few weeks he continued to make me laugh and feel so special. Until he begged to kiss me for a solid two weeks and I caved. He later ghosted me and I’m still not sure why. Oh tinder boys. Some very interesting people.
