
Being hydrated throughout the day is very important for our health. If you’re anything like me, then you know just how hard it is to drink water. With no flavor, the only way I get it down is by adding lemons to it. Not only is lemon water refreshing but it’s also beneficial to weight loss and digestion.
Humans are made up of around 60 percent water and the earth is nearly 72 percent covered in water.
Water plays an important role for your kidneys and other major parts of your body. When you are dehydrated your skin becomes more sensitive to wrinkles and skin disorders such as; acne and eczema.
Over the last few weeks, I’ve been chugging water. I’ve never been a huge water drinker so I was curious about the changes I might notice. The first thing was my acne. I’ve been struggling with acne for a few years now. After some hormonal changes, nothing seemed to work. Although my acne isn’t gone for good, it’s been a nice change seeing my clear face.
Switch out the soda for water. This is another huge thing I’ve been working on. I love coke with all my heart. What I have to remind myself is that coke is damaging my body. Making this change will also help with weight loss.
By drinking plenty of water it helps with your joints. Drinking water lubricates the joints and helps eliminate any joint pain you may have.
Drinking water is an essential part of your digestive system. Dehydration may lead to constipation, heartburn, and stomach ulcers.
Dehydration can cause your blood to become thick leading to high blood pressure.
Drinking enough water helps give your workout the extra boost it needs.
It helps you lose weight. By drinking water before your meal it tricks your body into thinking it’s full. This helps with how much food you then eat, leading to weight loss.
By making minerals and nutrients available, water helps brings these to different parts of your body.
Prevents kidney damage. Your kidneys help by regulating different fluids in your body. Not drinking enough water can cause kidney stones and other kidney problems.
To increase your overall health and maintain good health, make sure to be drinking your water. It’s not easy for all of us. The stresses of everyday life seem to always be more important than several glasses of water throughout the day.
Add in lemon or lime for a natural taste. Add water to smoothies in the morning. Drink more water! You are your biggest investment in life, so start by treating your body kinder.
