What I’m Grateful For This Month

The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate. -Oprah Winfrey

I find that when I’m rushed and trying to make sense of everything that comes my way, the joy gets sucked out of me. I’m a planner so taking life as it comes is very hard for me. I like to plan for all options and possibilities.

I feel as if I plan everything then eventually I will live my dreams life. Nothing bad will happen. Guess what, the bad will come, it’s up to us how to move forward when it does.

With this, I’ve been focusing on being grateful for everything that comes my way. There’s a reason for the good and a reason for the bad.

What I am grateful for this month…

House. So many people are praying to have the house I have. Instead of feeling our family has outgrown our home, I’m thankful that I have had this home to grow.

Husband. Paul works so hard to provide for us. That stress is not easy for any ma. Instead of nagging him, I take a step back and look at all the amazing ways he serves our family. I want to be his safe place to escape the stresses of the world.

Kids. I love my cute littles! The world is so rushed so being able to sit with them and play slows it down. Brings back the true joy behind having a family of your own.

Cars. Without my car, getting to and from work would take a lot of time. I’m able to visit family and friends from one end of the valley to the other. Plus let’s talk about heat in the winter. How nice is it to blast your heat on your commute?

Clothing. More than being able to dress modestly, I love clothing. I’m able to dress to impress, wear comfy clothing when I wanna be comfortable and have gym clothing that makes working out so much better.

My pup. Dogs really do make the world go round. I have the sweetest dog that fixes any bad day. I love how much dogs truly love their owners. Everything they do in life is out of love for you. My dog looks at me like I’m the best thing in the whole world. That pure love is priceless. The world needs a little more of that!

What are you grateful for this month?

What brings you joy?

What instantly makes you smile?

I want to know!

All my love,

Talesha
